The gap between industries has become more blurred of late as brands are beginning to target ‘Lifestyle’ as a category in its own right. We’ve seen motoring brands collaborate with watch makers, drinks brands with photographers and now purveyors of luxury precisely-cut crystal Swarovski have collaborated with leading men’s designers, in a move that sees their iconic crystals become fashion pieces.
During 2011 Milan fashion week, Swarovski Elements commissioned sixteen designers including Emporio Armani,Ermenegildo Zegna, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianfranco Ferre and Dior Homme for this collection. Pieces include tuxedos, blazers, a fedora and even a robe and slippers – all adorned with Swarovski Elements.
