A suit to travel in

While travelling – for business (or pleasure) – and needing to be smart, there is always the worry of how your clothes will fare after several hours of sitting and prolonged wear in extreme environments. You ideally want a suit that retains its shape and feel without creasing so that when you meet clients straight of the plane, you don’t want to look like you’ve slept in your clothes.

Paul Smith, known for classic tailoring with a unique twist, have released a special travel suiting range aptly named ‘A Suit To Travel In’. Using high-twist 100% worsted wool, the new AW15 travel suiting range has been constructed with quick recovery crease-resistant cloth with water-repellent qualities. Being naturally breathable and wicking, wool is the perfect fabric to help regulate body temperature while having impressive life and vitality that will keep the suit looking immaculate, pristine and most importantly un-spoiled.

Introduced to the Paul Smith London collection in AW15, the suit’s contemporary silhouette is a distinguished example of Paul’s sophisticated but functional approach to suiting. The suit has been designed with movement in mind, with extra room across the back of the jacket providing a full range of motion. Highlighting the manoeuvrability and strength of the suit, Paul Smith hired the help of Olympic medal-winning gymnast Max Whitlock to put the suit through its paces with a series of gymnastic sequences.
