Whistles x Buddy

The imminent release of the new collaboration between Whistles and Buddy has got us excited over here at Ape to Gentleman. We’ve been fans of cult Japanese brand Buddy for a while and are looking forward to see new capsule range of unisex bags and shoes. Comprised of a selection of unisex designs that include smooth finish leather trainers, coin wallets, canvas totes, and a roll top backpack.

Founded in 2012, Buddy are known for their pared-back silhouettes and functional designs usually associated with Japanese fashion brands. Drawing his inspiration from their mantra of Make Happy and his love of dogs, creative director Tetsuya Iizuka designed a range that combines Buddy’s classic shapes with Whistles’ appreciation of premium construction and design. To celebrate their shared love of dogs, the collection has been named after and shot with a few of Whistles’ resident buddies.

Available online and at selected stores from 24th March.
