Bang & Olufsen BeoVision Horizon TV

Flexibility, connectivity and quality- words, particularly the latter, common to Bang & Olufsen. Their new BeoVision Horizon TV ticks these technology boxes; crafted in sleek, black aluminium and built on the Android TVTM platform. A 4K Ultra HD TV with powerful sound and crystal clear images which automatically adjust to light conditions.

Designed by Torsten Valeur, the TV is stripped of anything superfluous with uncompromising minimalism, allowing it to blend in to any interior. An interesting concept, compared to the bold outgoing designs of its competitors, and one we like.

There is a whole host of tech; but standing out, the BeoVision Horizon is equipped with Immaculate Wireless Sound, offering the opportunity to add extra speakers without cables. Just plug the active speakers into the mains in the room and connect wirelessly.

There is smart access to online content via the Android Smart TV platform for web-based content from services like Google Play, as well as applications for entertainment, news and gaming. Integrated Google Cast technology enables streaming of movies, photos and music straight from a mobile phone or tablet.

The BeoVision Horizon will integrate seamlessly with all the other Multiroom products from Bang & Olufsen and B&O PLAY, and has space for either a HDD or an Apple TV inside.

Available as 40” (£2495) and 48” (£2695) at Bang & Olufsen stores, it’s certainly an investment piece but for those of you looking for something a little different to a regular TV, it’s a worthwhile one. Stands available include Easel stands, floor stands, wheel stands and wall brackets (from £215) for flexibility of location.
