TomTom GO

We must confess, when TomTom approached us about reviewing their new GO range of Sat Navs, we only had negative thoughts. Aren’t Sat Navs old technology, with in-car provisions and smartphones today, a thing of the past? They assured us not, and it turns out- they are right.

First off, the TomTom GO is the most advanced all-in-one Sat Nav to date with lifetime world maps, speed cameras and TomTom MyDrive alongside a variety of other driving aides.

You can now install and update maps from around the globe at no extra cost, for the lifetime of your TomTom GO. This feature gives gentlemen the freedom to choose the best route, the fastest route, or simply follow the road and enjoy the journey- anywhere in the world.

Lifetime TomTom Traffic updates, ensure traffic incidents are less bothersome, with updated delay times and rerouting.

TomTom MyDrive is a custom-made platform that ensures full communication between the TomTom GO and other devices. Through this, real-time traffic data, full map access and the ability to create your own routes allowing for a problem free journey are available- all before you step foot in the car.

Using new technology, the user experience has also been simplified to a stress-free level. Two new buttons have been added in the main menu, enabling the driver to choose whether to ‘Drive home’ or ‘Drive to work’ with a movement of the finger.

It’s quite simply the easiest to use Sat Nav and most feature packed available. Sure there are some reasonable car sat navs in built available but nothing quite like this for sheer dedicated driving assistance.

The TomTom GO is available from £259.99 at tomtom.com now.
