Ape to Gentleman’s ‘Back the Beard’ Guide

England’s triumphant return to form mean’s that we have got a few more days growth at the very least, so for all the English Gents (and more probably Apes) that are Backing the Beard, we thought we would do our part and help you find the Beard style for you this World Cup campaign.

Beginner…

If your beard is the kind that even if the World Cup were to last until 2012, there still wouldn’t be full facial coverage, then this could be the style of beard for you. There’s no hair length requirement to Back the Beard.

Natural…

adrien-grenier-beard

Uncomplicated, simple and easy to maintain, natural growth looks best for those with complete hair facial coverage, rather than those with the patchier beard growth associated with youth.

English Heritage…

A little bit longer and more tailored than the Natural growth beard, this classic beard style is perfect for those distinguished gents Backing the Beard this summer

Advanced…

Something to aspire to; maybe if England make the World Cup final, we’ll see this style pulled out the bag. Now that’s just showing off…

The Viking…

For those who have a full length beard all year round anyway, do something a little extra to Back the Beard. How about a few plaits? Winner.

For Women/Kids..

So that women and kids don’t feel left out, I have found a solution. I think you’ll all agree it is exceptionally stylish.

Get Creative…

There are so many things you can do with a beard; use your imagination (and email us the results). This genius pictured above managed to recreate a windmill, so 3 Lions shouldn’t be too tricky…

There you have it, the definitive guide to Backing the Beard. Now lets just hope England appreciate all of the trouble we’ve gone through and win the World Cup for us… Right.

Send us your World Cup Beards contact@apetogentleman.com, and let the world celebrate your bearded glory!
