Every Dad’s got a few in their locker and deep down we love them for it, no matter how embarrassing or obscure they may be.

Gillette has created a Facebook app for everyone to share and remember their favourite ‘daddisms’, whether it’s a priceless pearl of wisdom or simple words of guidance, and all will be entered into the prize draw for the ultimate weekend away with your Dad.

Gillette ambassador and sporting icon Jonny Wilkinson was one of the first to try the app out and submitted his own ‘daddism’ – Whatever you want to do, go for it.  Never look back over your shoulder in the future with regret that you did not try and give it your best – “My Dad has played a massive role in supporting me throughout my career and has been an ever-present during my development as a person and an athlete”, admitted the England fly-half. “It’s a great way to remember those classic comments and funny quotes but also gives us time to reflect on how much we owe them as well.”

The Gillette Facebook app also gives users the chance to win a year’s supply of Gillette products for the most popular ‘daddism’ submitted and an ‘Add Dad to your calendar’ reminder so you don’t miss the all important day.
