German designer John Brauer presents us with the aptly entitled ‘Illusion’  coffee table. The table gives the appearance of a transparent tablecloth, with no table underneath – very clever indeed. The cloth-like design is eye catching and gives the table a sense of fluid motion. The acrylic tables are all handmade making each Illusion unique in its own right.  

Such was the popularity of the ‘Illusion’ that he decided to make a slightly larger version to be used as a bed side table - he called it the ‘Grand Illusion’. Again, a great name for the table, but one can’t help but wonder what he will call his next size up,  ‘ Grander Illusion’ perhaps? I suppose it could work.
