French purveyors of luxury handmade soaps La Compagnie de Provence are showing their true colours with their latest packaging design for their coveted soaps, which engages the users mind in a novel approach.

Each fragrance is represented by different colour packaging, and includes instructions on how to turn the packaging into origami. All the origami designs are based around a nautical theme, allowing you to make a whale, a turtle, a swan, a sea lion, a sailboat, a goldfish, a frog or even a boat.

The pure vegetable soaps themselves are made from oil palm in homage to the emblematic cube which has been the pride Marseille since the seventeenth century. Interesting idea; certainly gives a whole new slant on the concept of recycling.
