Humane Grooming: Bulldog say ‘No Cruel Cosmetics’

In December 2009 Bulldog became the first male grooming company to be recognised and approved by the BUAV under their Humane Cosmetics Standard. This means that Bulldog products are never tested on animals and do not include any ingredients derived from animal sources. It comes as no surprise that Bulldog are in full support of the BUAV’s recently launched ‘No Cruel Cosmetics’ campaign, which is aiming to end the sale of toiletries and cosmetics in the EU that have been cruelly tested on animals.

The EU is due to ban the sale of all new cosmetics and toiletries that have been tested on animals outside the EU from 2013. However, officials are now considering extending this deadline. This is despite the public opposition to animal tested cosmetics and an existing ban on conducting animal tests for cosmetics inside the EU.
