Drawing on our Apeish roots, the automated clean function to ensure complete hygiene – without lifting a finger, okay maybe one press of a button drew gasps of delight at Ape to Gentleman HQ. Everything is controlled through a full colour touch screen with personalised menus where you can even personalise and store up to 64 different recipes, even down to ensuring your coffee is served at the optimal temperature. One can adjust the fineness of grinding for each recipe making the ultimate coffee for instance.

Krups have gone to nth detail with their flagship EA9000, even considering the purity of your water with a Claris Aqua Filter System for pure water. Beyond this there is a cup warmer, automatic level alerts for the removable drip tray, and rinsing and de-scaling alerts – meaning you can bean to cup away without a care in the world, until something pings at you – advising you, politely, of any changes you may need to make.
