Hi WTC, we always advise that less is more. Don't overcomplicate your routine – a cleanser, scrub (twice a week) and a moisturiser. Re shaving, opt for a good shave cream (see our Top 10 lists) and a pre-shave oil (makes a difference).

Hi Apes & Gents,

 

I've been reading this blog for a while now, so thought I'd register with the forum and say hello.

 

I am going into my final year of University in a weeks time and coming from oversees (although I'm terribly British). As I am moving into a new place, I am going to be starting completely fresh with my grooming products.

 

I wanted to know from the experts a list of maybe 5-10 essential grooming products to get me on my way. I am already very vain and conscious of my grooming habits, but a small routine and list of products from you would be a great help!

 

Any feedback would be fab.
