I would be careful with NYR products if I were you, because they are heavily fragranced. It's like subway, they pump it full of perfume to make it smell nice, but if you have sensitive skin, putting that much fragrance on your skin can actually damage it.

If you aren't experiencing problems then you must have strong skin, I envy you!

But if you want the low-down on the best products to get great results for your skintype, I recommend you check out this article which has tried-and-tested product reviews just for men, that won't break the bank.

Hi

Great info on Neals Yard, which I have never tried. Will have to check out the eye gel.

I started using the Neal's Yard for Men range of skin care products in the Summer when the little NYR shop at St Pancras kindly let me have some samples when I passed by on a trip to Paris. I liked the samples so much, I stopped by on my way home to purchase sveral full-sized products.

I had previously used several skin care regimes such as Clarins and Clinique. I usually ended up just using the face wash because the other products didn't seem to make much difference, apart from making my skin look greasy.

I now use daily the NYR Men's Purifying Face Wash, Moisturising Face Lotion, and Rejuvenating Eye Gel and at weekends i use the Rejuvenating Moisturiser and the Face Scrub. I also use the men's shower gel and the Rose Shampoo and Conditioner.

I love these products! For the first time ever I can see a real difference in my skin, rather than the imagined one of other products I have used. You know the scenario – you pay out a lot of money and just want so much to see a difference! I am 53 years old and the NYR skin care regime is doing wonders. The eye gel in particular is like magic – my under-eye area is transformed almost immediately after application. The Moisturising Face Lotion is more fluid than the Rejuvenating Moisturiser and comes in a pump dispenser – I feel it is better for weekday use as it is less rich. I used to have an area at the side of each eye which felt like there were small spots under the skin – this is now completely smooth and the texture of the skin much improved.

The icing on the cake is that the bottles and jars look lovely in my white bathroom cabinet and the products all smell delicious!
