Friday Five: Perfect Cube, RL Rugby, Smirnoff, The Six Scents and Do the ‘Write’ thing…
One Perfect Cube
The Friday Five returns to Ape to Gentleman after a one month hiatus to bring you the best of the best to grace our desks this week at the Ape to Gent HQ. To kick off this week’s proceedings, a piece of clever horological art from German designer Florian Jenett. Once every 24hours the 3 clocks hands will align to form the image of the perfect cube.
“One Perfect Cube appears as a pure form at first glance, as an animated drawing undergoing a perpetual metamorphosis, whose creator is not quite sure about which shape it is finally going to take. Or, in fact, what it was once before. How is one to know? The image is structured by nine lines, conceived from the hands of three clocks, three lines of which move across the face at one time, tick-tock, according to the same congruent rhythm”
Think before you Write

Manufactured at a wind-powered facility in the United States, it was designed as a responsible alternative to the wasteful and often toxic pens we’re guilty of using almost every day. And with its straightforward design and rollerball tip, the DBA Pen looks good and writes well too. Get involved Gents.
