Regardless of whether you did or didn’t read my post, now seemed like the perfect time to remind all apes and gents to keep on top of their oral hygiene as it happens to be National Smile Month (May 16th- June 16th)! In honour of this, the folks at Oral-B, purveyors of Ape to Gentleman’s favourite toothbrush, have decided to get pro-active with us football and World Cup fanatics awaiting June 11th with great earnest by unveiling their ‘Flag of Smiles™’ competition.
In partnership with The Sun newspaper, Oral-B, one of the official sponsors of National Smile Month, is celebrating the nation’s smiles by giving apes and gents up and down the country the chance to have their smile made famous: by having their face emblazoned upon a giant 25m x 15m flag. Of all the thousands of entrants, only 96 of the most ‘winning smiles’ will make the final flag design.
The finished flag will be unveiled in London’s Leicester Square on Wednesday 23rd June from 9:30am onwards, where Jamie Theakston will pick the best ‘winning smile’- who will win an extremely useful £1000! Additionally, all the 96 winners of the competition will also receive an Oral-B PC 500 power brush worth £44.99.
So if you fancy getting your smile in the history books, £1000 and a free electric toothbrush enter your smiling picture* at www.thesun.co.uk/smile or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Good luck gentleman!
*Those smiles that catch the judges’ eye will be invited to have a professional photo shoot with The Sun, ensuring the Flag of Smiles™ captures Britain’s very best smiles.
