Spring by Nike Running [PAGE 2]

I road and off-road tested the LunarEclipse+ 2‘s (grey/blue colour-way) today, inspired by the sun and spring air, perfect running weather. The results; another win for Nike. They look superb, fit like a glove and kept my feet cool when the going got tough. Comfort wise, I haven’t run in a more comfortable trainer – at times, the lightweight nature of the shoes was akin to running barefoot.

I wore the lightweight Nike Storm Fly 2.0 Running Jacket which kept the wind and a sprinkling of rain at bay, protecting my iPod which was fed through the jackets MP3 loops. Any sweat was swiftly dispatched by Dri-FIT mesh fabric. Underneath was a red Nike Race Day Shirt, slim fitting and made with featherweight materials offering expert ventilation.

Bottoms: Nike 28cm Phenom Woven Men’s Running Shorts in a black/red colour-way, longer for better coverage, and ventilation where it matters. Lightweight and comfortable. A little over zero degrees meant Nike Element Thermal Men’s Running Tights were required, for warmth, water resistance, sweat-wicking and as with all of the above reflectivity for enhanced visibility in low light should it have been needed.

Gentleman, it’s time to run. The gear of choice is Nike, visually and performance wise.
