The Hut Group buys Mankind and Lookmantastic

Gents, we are a bit late to this party, apologies… but Chloe Rigby over at www.internetretailing.net reported on December 7th 2010 the purchase of male grooming etailer Mankind for £2.5m by The Hut Group. The report claims Mankind and BeautyExpert posted sales of £5m last year. It’s Official; Men prefer to buy their male grooming products online. In a recent poll, *Ape to Gentleman readers voted 53.3% in favour of the online grooming stores to cater for all their male grooming requirements. The next most popular shopping venue was the Supermarket with 18.7%, followed by Beauty counters with 9.3%.
