Neal’s Yard Remedies is a pioneer of environmentally sensitive natural health and beauty and its approach is based on using pure natural ingredients with the minimum of processing.  All the farmed herb and flower ingredients are organic where possible, while other natural ingredients are ‘wild harvested’ and collected from hedgerows and unspoilt countryside.  Neal’s Yard Remedies doesn’t use man-made chemicals, like parabens and phthalates. Neal’s Yard Remedies, the specialist in natural and organic skincare, was originally founded by natural product enthusiast Romy Fraser in 1981. The Neal’s Yard Remedies brand has grown from a lone store in Covent Garden, to 37 across the UK, 15 in Japan and a new store in Dubai; complete with 75 therapy rooms and nearly 500 qualified therapists. Neal’s Yard Remedies relocated to a new purpose built eco-factory – Peacemarsh – in Gillingham, Dorset in 2005, and this is where all products in the range are made.  Since taking over the company in 2005, Peter Kindersley’s vision has been to change the way people think about natural beauty products and ingredients. Care for the environment is at the heart of the company’s philosophy, but also vital for its long-term financial success.
