While the Monocle shop doesn’t sell many sartorial pieces, it does have a knack for picking out elegant, timeless garments from some of the worlds finest designers. An example of this expertise is shown in their recent choice from British brand Hackett; renown more of late for their bold logo’s rather than their subtlety.

Hackett was launched in 1983 by Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings as a second-hand clothing store on “the wrong end of London’s King’s Road.”

This navy and white striped polo shows a softer side to the Hackett design with the logo almost blending into the polo design. The Hackett polo shirt elegantly finished off with the smoke grey mother of pearl buttons.

The Monocle x Hackett Polo Shirt is available form Monocle online (£90).
