In numerical order of supremacy, this list, compiled from customer feedback, popularity, innovation, ingredients, results, price and Ape to Gentleman’s testers displays the Top 5 Eye Roll-ons for Men the male grooming world has to offer. Top 5 because we couldn’t find 10!

A good eye roll-on should be simple to use, absorb quickly but last, be a good texture, possess quality ingredients, be easily dispensed, offer value for money and provide an immediate effect at reducing Eye-Bags, Sagging, Wrinkles and Dark Circles. We expect a lot you say? As always, yes. And why not? Ape to Gentleman brings you the best eye roll-ons for men, don’t settle for anything less.

1. Polaar Icy Magic, 5ml for £19.00

This “instant eye contour multi energiser” with Tetrapeptides and Siberian Ginseng and an all natural formula instantly cools puffy eyes. It sets to work on dark circles almost instantly, our Ape eyes looked healthier i.e. younger from first application, by increasing microcirculation. The “icy cold” massaging effect of the roller ball drained away those tired-eye bags expertly. French brand Polaar is relatively unknown in the UK but their products are all excellent, including Icy Magic, a clear number one. Effective and long-lasting with only very little required. Massage away gents, for an instant fix.

Best for: instant results.

2. Bulldog Original Eye Roll-On, 15ml for £9.99

Natural skincare specialists Bulldog pack in some heavyweight ingredients namely Brazilian Ginseng Root Extract and Muira Puema Bark Extract amongst others. The main aims are again to encourage microcirculation around the eyes to reduce dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles. Bulldog advise to keep the roll-on the fridge for extra coolness, we recommend this. The Original Eye Roll-On is another success from Bulldog, a product which is effective, keeps skin hydrated and generally healthy. As always, it’s affordable but doesn’t quite give the super-instant fix that Icy Magic provides.

Best for: long term use.

3. Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Anti-Fatigue Cooling Eye Gel, 15ml for £20.00

Designed to revitalise, brighten and hydrate tired looking eyes instantly. With the backing of Ophthalmologist tested the Clinique offering deals with bags and dark circles with aplomb. Our only slight criticism is the gel is slightly runny meaning more is required but the results are good.

Best for: Gentlemanly packaging.

4. Biotherm Homme High Recharge Eye Shot, 10ml for £29.00

Marketed as an “anti-fatigue cold eye-serum”, Biotherm Homme’s offering brings pure Ginseng and pure Thermal Plankton to the party. The serum itself is effective but the 3 roll-on balls makes application or more specifically releasing the serum difficult. Despite this, the massaging action of the 3 roll-on balls alone is more pleasant than the others in the list.

Best for: under eye massaging.

5. L’Oreal Paris Men Expert Vita Lift 5 Eye Roll-On, 10ml for £10.99 (not pictured)

The key ingredient L’Oreal push here is Pro-Retinol™ which supposedly targets; Eye-Bags, Sagginess, Deep Wrinkles, Crinkled Skin and Dark Circles. As always with L’Oreal we see miracle ingredients such as adS2™ ACTIVE DEFENCE SYSTEM-A, we aren’t sure what it means but it sure sounds good. Value for money wise the formula is a touch too runny meaning more application is required. Less effective than the others performance wise but nonetheless, a cooling effect from the roll-on balls.

Best for: impressive sounding ingredients.

Conclusion

Go for quality and results over marketing power, Polaar Icy Magic is our clear winner with its immediate results. Bulldog rolls in at second place with excellent results and longer-term hydration. Let us know your thoughts and findings gents.
