Sky On Demand

With Christmas only moments away and with it, the opportunity to watch and catch up on your favourite viewing pleasures, now is as good a time as any to revisit what Sky has to offer.

Sky’s coverage of sport is unrivalled and it is nearly all filmed in HD and much in the ever-growing 3D technology.

Many of us are aware that Sky provide a limitless list of Movies, US TV series, Documentaries and Music. However, the subject I wish to remark on is Sky’s commitment to peripherals – not only can you watch your favourite TV but you can watch it whenever, wherever and however you please.

Watch Sir Chris Hoy – 6 time Olympic champion, in action.

Sky Go allows users to watch Sky on their iPhone, iPad and computer – whilst walking in the street or travelling on the train. Users can set their Sky+ box to record from their smartphone, perfect for when an office meeting overruns and Manchester United are just about to kick off against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Sky On Demand Wireless Connector.

Sky’s latest edition to the family is Sky On Demand – a service Ape to Gentleman have been testing, which allows users to watch TV… when they choose. Simply connect your Sky box to your router or through their genius WiFi box (pictured above) to watch TV from the last 7 days, including sport, box sets and movies – all controllable by the Sky+ app. You can also rent or buy the latter from the Sky Store. It’s worth noting that On Demand is available at no additional charge to Sky subscribers.

A Christmas essential.
