VitaMan

Created and launched in 1999, by Naturopath Herbalist Glenn Kiddell and International Skincare Specialist and Lecturer Clare Matthews – VitaMan is certainly a brand that deserves a closer look.

From Australia, and made with unique ingredients including those used for over 30,000 years by Indigenous Australians – VitaMan’s unique formulas are natural, innovative and crucially, effective.

The VitaMan range covers daily essentials for men including: shaving, skin, body and hair care. The brand’s roots are firmly planted in the spa industry, it’s a true spa brand but fear not, products are readily available worldwide via the internet. I chose a selection of three products to test, and wasn’t disappointed.

Face and Body Cleanser

This is a really good product – natural ingredients a balanced pH ensure there’s no skin irritation. One small pump lathers incredibly well. The fragrance is light-citrus, very fresh and not overly potent so as not to interfere with your favourite cologne. I used it as body wash but it can be used as face wash too – £23.50.

Hair Food

This product interested me because I can’t recall anything similar. It’s a tonic designed to increase scalp circulation and stimulate hair growth. A mini-fertiliser or sorts. My hair certainly felt thicker and in better condition – also, you can leave the product in your hair, so it doubles as a styling product – £32.

Lip Balm

This was equally good – made with a quick absorbing formula, which left my lips in fine condition. Made with 100% natural organic ingredients, and housed in a pocket-friendly earthy-brown tube – £11.50.
