Panerai Luminor Marina 1950

Introducing the original combination of the white dial and the 42mm Luminor 1950 case, the Luminor Marina 1950 3 Day Automatic is Officine Panerai’s latest creation within the high-end watch market. For many years it has been viewed that a man can be judged purely by what he wears on his wrist and this Swiss Made creation from the luxury watch maker will ensure one gives off the correct impression.

Combining the practicality of the P.9000 calibre movement with a power reserve of up to three days ensures that the wearer will own a timepiece that will offer both practicality and versatility. Housed in a stainless steel case, the robustness of the AISI 316L design is what has made the Luminor such a popular sports watch. Incorporated within the case is a lever device, designed to protect the winding mechanism and to ensure water-resistance to a 100m depth. The need for clarity is catered for, with large black figures marking the hours, in stark contrast to the white dial of the face. Embellished with crystal sapphire, the look is completed with an anti-reflective coating, thus ensuring the robustness is matched in every facet.

The sapphire crystal back enables the owner to admire the Panerai P.9000 calibre in all its splendour with the brown alligator strap ensuring a comfortable and timeless look to the design.

Careful attention has been paid to all aspects of the design, the special system for time adjustment being just one. This process involves the hour hand being able to be changed in exactly one hour jumps, without the need to interfere with the running of the minute hand. Such fine detailing is what has characterised the Officine Panerai timepieces since their early inception back in the 1940’s.
