Louis W. for A.P.C.

Louis Wong, co-designer at A.P.C. and man behind the Louis W. label – creator of timeless leather jackets and coats – has once again created a capsule collection of classic biker and bomber jackets. The collections draws inspiration from British and French black and white films of the 50s and 60s.

Each jacket is personalised with a name such as the Fernand jacket, or the Alain jacket in a very classic Harrington style. There is a working class sensibility to this collaboration, evident on the shearling Donkey Jacket, with contrast patch details reminiscent of traditional work-wear. The Maurice jacket features a lambswool collar, in a classic bomber style in black suede with a diagonal zip on the chest. The same style is also available in a technical navy gabardine with a jacquard pinstripe and navy lambswool collar.

We really liked this collection, and for when the weather turns cooler this Autumn any of the above will be a superb addition to any gentleman’s wardrobe.
