Ashton Eaton, the Decathlon World and Olympic champion is man who moves with controlled discipline, often required to dig deep.

As part of Nike Training’s Inner Strength Documentary series we look Eaton’s event, comprised of 10 distinct athletic disciplines, requiring complete synchronicity of the mind and body. That’s why its winner is traditionally defined as “the greatest athlete in the world.”

Eaton, also the sport’s world record holder, is notably athletic- born of a holistic training regime- the results of said regime will be on display as Eaton defends his title at the IAFF World Championships in Beijing.
