Orlebar Brown Spring 2016 Collection
Exploration, the spirit of adventure and the natural world were Orlebar Brown’s inspiration for its Spring 2016 collection. Influenced by Brazil’s Mato Grosso rainforest and its varied wildlife, their chosen includes crimson, chrysalis and carmine. Their is also and capsule collection that has been created with Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes.
The Colobura dirce butterfly’s wings is included within the Spring 2016 Collection- translated into the new season Orlebar Brown house print, which embraces the vibrancy and wildlife of South America.
Photographic inspiration appears on a series of shorts and shirts showcasing Fauna and Foliage prints.
Exploring different textures through digital design, Orlebar Brown include surface patterns inspired by exotic wildlife and unusual plant life. The brand’s second collaboration with renowned Greek artist Konstantin Kakanias reveals botanic and butterfly prints.
New for Spring 2016 is an active wear capsule including the Seth polo and Logan rash guard top, along with fresh towelling separates all of which incorporate unique fabric compositions and garment finishes for a sportier approach to off-duty style.
Other separates such as lightweight jackets, cashmere-blend knitwear, light linen shirts and colourful pigment tees emphasise Orlebar Brown’s progression into everyday wardrobe solutions. Towelling is upgraded to include ecru and understated stripes, alongside a larger footwear offering with the waterproof Declan slider.
To complete the season, Orlebar Brown has employed the expertise of eyewear specialists Linda Farrow to create its very own contemporary collection of sunglasses.
