So as The North Face celebrates the 30th birthday of one of its most iconic products- the Base Camp Duffel– could this be the time to take the plunge?
Not only has its anniversary introduced a new, special edition range of colours and print; the iconic bag has been further improved with added features.
The new end-cap zippered compartment allows you to separate your belonging securely. Whilst the new side zippered pocket allows enough space for essentials such as a phone or wallet and makes sure they’re easily accessible.
The 30-year-old Base Camp Duffel was innovative and unique when it was first released in 1986; as fact recognised by Peter Athans, a long-standing member of The North Face Global Athlete Team, who has high praise for the renowned bag, stating:
“Before the Base Camp Duffel we used to buy bags that were cheap and expendable. […] The introduction of the Base Camp Duffel brought with it completely different attributes: it is extremely durable, colourful, easy to pack and –thanks to the shoulder straps- easy to carry.”
The new limited edition product range is available now in sizes XS (33 ltr) up to XL (132 ltr) with prices starting at £85 RRP.
