Nike Golf Flyknit Elite
Just as any golf enthusiast will know, achieving the perfect swings relies on a variety of factors with the most important being your stance and footwork.
Realising this, Nike have developed a new collection of specialist golfing footwear. The Nike Golf Flyknit Elite ensure wears have the strong footing needed to produce a powerful, accurate and consistent swing.
Achieving better footwork was one of the key design features for this product and so Nike developed the Articulated Integrated Traction which separated the media heel from the lateral forefoot area in order to help push the athlete through each swing and giving it more power. This was just one of the many design features Nike had to explore when creating this new type of footwear as Gentry Humphrey, VP Nike Golf Footwear explains:
“”When our team of designers started creating what would become Articulated Integrated Traction we factored in foot performance through every aspect of the swing. We also considered the various surfaces and angles a golfer has to play through each and every round and worked hard to create traction that performs in every condition.”
A unique TP tread design allows reliable traction in place of traditional spikes with having to compromise on grip. This innovative traction is then paired with a full-length Lunarlon midsole and a one-piece Flyknit upper to ensure maximum impact. The new Flynit Elite offers targeted support in key areas whilst its dynamic Flywire holds the mid-foot stable through the swing and a mid-height collar helps prevent grass and debris from entering the shoe and causing irritation.
