Drawing on 125 years of razor production, Wilkinson Sword have released their latest 5-front blade razor- the Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5. Their primary focus is is improved skin protection during shaving, including technology that surpasses outdated lubrication strips, instead opting for innovative gel pools designed for an improved glide.
Pioneering Features
- Hydrating Gel Pools– lasting up to twice as long as other lubrication strips on the market (41% Simpson Carpenter Quantitative study, May 2015). The gel provides thick coverage to spread evenly across the face, leaving the skin feeling protected throughout the shave and hydrated for up to one hour after each shave- this is something a conventional strip can’t do.
- Flip Trimmer– revealed with a flick of the thumb; the hydrating gel pools flip back to reveal a blade for precision and control in hard to reach areas such as under the nose.
- Skin Guards and Reduced Blade Span– the new guard bars and reduced blade span on the Hydro 5 have been redesigned to improve comfort, safety and prevent skin pinching.
