Chester Barrie AW16 Collection
Modern tailoring brand Chester Barrie have unveiled their Autumn/ Winter 2016 Collection, featuring a superbly modern take on classic looks. One of Ape’s favourite AW16 collections.
Inspired by the classic stars of Hollywood’s golden age; our favoured cut within the collection is the New Kensington style- a low buttoning double-breasted blazer with shawl collar and curved front. The AW16 collection presents traditional design in three ways; with the classic dinner suit represented by a brown wool with silk and cotton Mogador ottoman, a navy silk and wool designed cocktail jacket suitable for either day or night wear and a rich-green velvet modern yet classic smoking jacket.
Another key feature of the new collection is the double breasted kingly design. For the traditional office look it is presented as a navy flannel chalk stripe, button two show six whilst the evening wear option offers a low buttoning, two button look with a rich Mogador ottoman.
Other notable pieces include a pink flannel cocktail jacket, a three-piece grey flannel suit with a double breasted shawl collar waistcoat, also available in baby alpaca and kid mohair- perfect for cold winter days.
