To celebrate their 100th Anniversary, Italian skincare brand Acqua di Parma have released a new set of fragrances named; Note di Colonia I, II and III.

Each fragrance is inspired by music from two of the most famous Italian opera composers, Verdi and Puccini, whilst it’s bottle reincarnates the classic Acqua di Parma design.

Note di Colonia I sought inspiration from Verdi’s ‘Libiamo ne’ lieti calici’, opening with an explosion of radiant bergamot, followed by a classic citrus, lavender, rose and violet accord. Before a unique combination of patchouli and cedarwood then finish off the blend.

Similarly, the second fragrance, Colonia II holds intense citrusy notes of bergamot, orange and grapefruit and was inspired by ‘Nessum Dorma’ from Puccini’s Turando.

To end off the trio, Note di Colonia III was inspired by Verdi’s ‘ Marca Trionfale’, and offers a more dry and woody fragrance. Releasing mandarin, ginger and jasmine to begin and then ending with refined notes of tonka bean.

Each 150ml fragrance is available exclusively in Harrods now priced at £280.
