For Spring/ Summer 2017, Canali pays homage to the iconic Kei jacket and its signature deconstructed softness- which for the first time is presented in suits and trousers with a modern fit. We also see luxurious linen-silk blends in block colours which sit alongside pieces crafted in this season’s signature malfilé fabric; where the texture and weave of the cloth is accentuated.

Iconic sportswear pieces such as blousons, parkas and bombers are cut in soft deer, calf and lambskin while over-length trench coats in feather light technical fabrics round off outerwear.

Unstructured elegance is evident in Canali’s accessories too, with neck scarves taking the place of ties, pocket squares doubled-up and small belt bags worn at the waist.

The colour palette features steel blue and burnt Sienna (a deep red-brown), taking inspiration from, “the sky and the earth- a seamless horizon”, think long, warm nights and the Italian summer.
