Nike Zoom Vaporfly 2017 Collection

Nike have set themselves a long-term mission of transforming the athletic landscape, and the Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite is their latest example of this. Performance runners Eliud Kipchoge, Lelisa Desisa and Zersenay Tadese push to get the most out of every stride and they will do so wearing the new trainers from Nike in upcoming marathons.

Combining athlete insight with cutting-edge engineering, the shoes are designed to give runners more energy return combined with more cushioning from the road.

As well as a 21mm forefoot stack height, the shoes also boast a 9mm offset, designed to minimalize Achilles strain. A “scooped-shaped” carbon fiber plate provides a feeling of forward motion and minimizes energy loss over the course of the race.

With the Nike Zoom Vaporfly pointing into the future of Nike Zoom Running – a duo of racing shoes is being released that redefines the look and feel of fast running.
