Visionary hotelier André Balazs’ hotels are as individual as they are creative, each masterpieces in their own right. In keeping with his intention to evoke a genuine reaction, last week saw the launch of a limited edition run of Pendleton Blankets specially designed by artists Geoff McFetridge and Chris Johanson for The Standard Hotel Hollywood, and The Standard Hotel Downtown LA respectively

Pictured above is the blanket Chris Johanson created for The Standard, Downtown LA in heather grey and warm yellow, with the text reading:

“All people are multi dimensional.”

The blankets:

• Available in 2 sizes: Full (96″ W x 90″ H) and King (120″ W x 90″ H).
• Composed of 82% pure virgin wool, 18% cotton.  Whip-stitched edges.
• Double embroidered labelled:  The Standard and Pendleton, with the name of the respective artist.
• Only 40 of each blanket were produced.
