I know what you’re thinking, because I’m thinking the same thing. This may not look like a very masculine fragrance by the bottle, but I have been assured that it is unisex. Now to the story…

It wasn’t so long ago (1972) that an outrageous gang of stars, artists, and celebrities travelled to Montauk, one of which was a ‘popular’ gentleman called Andy Warhol. The design is taken from Andy Warhol’s typically abstract setting sun series of paintings while at Montauk, from which Bond No.9 chose 4 to adorn their bottles.

The woody citrus fragrance itself was developed by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec; with notes of Wild bergamot, hyacinth, honeysuckle, amber, driftwood, silver maple, red oak.

Despite the lack of masculinity exuding from the bottle, trhe fragrance is most definitely worth at least a sniff; according to early reports “this fragrance is like no other”.
