New York eyewear brand MOSCOT have introduced six new styles in their latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2017 – three new designs for their Originals Collection and three new MOSCOT Spirits.

The Originals Collection celebrates classic good looks and timeless designs from 1930-1970, the authenticity of the original frame styles including period details, traditional hardware, and real sunglass lenses that precisely duplicate the true old school colors first fabricated by MOSCOT in the 1940s.

The Spirit Collection somewhat departs from traditional styles, but still features the same materials and hardware to ensure high quality construction, and is designed using the brand’s distinct color palette and signature end caps.

Chief Design Officer Zachary Moscot delved deep into his family archives to draw inspiration for a collection made to transcend multiple decades and eras of style.

Taking notes from the 1930s all the way through to the 1980s, the collection features traditional designs, although they are also contemporary in their construction, using the brand’s 102 years of experience in the optical industry to build each frame.

Originals Collection will add The BUPKES, DRIMMEL, and YENTE, while The DEVON, JASPER, and KATE round out the company’s newest Spirit Additions.

All MOSCOT eyewear is handmade using high quality materials, real hardware, and hinges that are riveted through the temple and frame fronts to ensure sturdy construction. All of their frames are available asophthalmic eyewear or sunglasses, with or without a prescription, and is customizable in a variety of frame and lens color combinations and sizes.
