In 2 days time of the ultimate international celebration of grooming will commence, and best of all – it’s for a good great cause. The Mustache, Moustache, Tache, Stache, Mo (or any other derivative you can think of) is about to take centre stage, and quite rightly so. Too long has the Stasche played second fiddle to the beard; free your Tasche and do it for a good cause – Distinguished Apes & Gentlemen, let me present to you Movember 2010.

A far cry from its humble beginnings over a few beers in Melbourne Australia in 2003, Movember has now become a worldwide grooming phenomenon where millions of men join together with common purpose; to liberate the Tasche, and raise money for Prostate Cancer – both of which have been accomplished with resounding success!

The Movember 2009 campaign, raised a staggering £26 Million, supported by the participating 255,755 Mo’s worldwide, and over one million donors. That’s a lot of Stache.

It’s time for all you Gent’s to use the ‘power of Stache to make cash’ in Movember 2010 for The Prostate Cancer Charity (TPCC) in the UK and other Prostate Cancer funds worldwide. Here is how to take part:

“The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for cancers that affect men. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.”

There is a variety of prizes available for the best Stache (such as the Moscars, and International Man of Movember) but to encourage you, our loyal readers to take part, Ape to Gentleman also have a prize up for grabs for the best stache this Movember.

To win the Braun Series 3 380 Wet & Dry electric shaver (RRP £139.99) all you have to do is an upload a photo of your ‘Mo’ to our photo album in the Ape to Gentleman Facebook page.

For those of you growing Mo’s for charity, feel free to email us the details of your cause to movember@apetogentleman.com and we’ll post them on our Facebook wall to help you on your way.
