In celebration of their 145th anniversary, Penhaligon’s will launch No. 33 this July- named after their No. 33 St James’s Street store.

Founded by William Penhaligon in 1870, Penhaligon’s creates original fragrances, and No. 33 is no different.

Constructing the aromatic composition around lavender seemed only natural No. 33 opens with an aromatic burst of crisp citrus, rustic armoise and clary sage alongside a bracing lavender note. The smooth heart is enriched by warming pepper, ginger and cardamom and fresh, rosy geranium. Tobacco, cedar and vetiver add a dry smokiness, balanced by the restrained sweetness of tonka, amber and vanilla. It’s certainly a contemporary take on classic lavender.

  • Top Notes: Bergamot, Orange, Grapefruit, Armoise, Coriander, Clary Sage and Cypress.
  • Heart Notes: Lavender, Violet, Black Pepper, Ginger, Jasmine, Rose, Muguet, Geranium, Saffron and Cardamom.
  • Base Notes: Amber, Vetiver, Musk, Moss, Tobacco, Tonka Bean, Vanilla and Cedarwood.
