Suited particularly well for dry and sensitive skin types is Emollience from SkinCeuticals. It expertly nourishes dry and dehydrated skin, aiming to and succeeding restoring and maintaining moisture.
I came across this cream whilst reading a review of Creme de la Mer, it was touted as an alternative and importantly, a cheaper one by Dil at Skin Care for Men.
The use of Kelp bares similarities to Creme de la Mer. It also contains three nutrient rich Brazilian marine extracts, Grape Seed, Rose Hip and Macadamia Oils, Rosemary, Kelp, Golden Seal, Wild Cherry Bark, Henna, Burdock and Mango Butter.
Based on scientific research and formulated with a careful selection of natural extracts and oils, SkinCeuticals Emollience is a rich and restorative moisturiser. The Brazilian sea algae nourishes and hydrates the skin while oils of grape seed, rose hip and macademia restore and maintain moisture. Emollience is ideal for high altitudes and cold or dry climates.
The reason I like this cream so much is that it really does work as it suggests. Great for dry, sensitive skin, rich but quick absorbing. The texture is excellent too. It has a host of natural ingredients and is just sold as is, no clever marketing… unless this is clever marketing!?
