Launched ahead of Euro 2012 and recently worn at Wembley when England took on Holland, the new England home kit features, for the first time, a white and red only design. The traditional blue and red Three Lions badge has been updated to only red and the kit, with its signature red striping detail has been crafted in honour of the Umbro jacket worn by England manager Sir Alf Ramsey during England’s 1966 World Cup winning campaign.

The ‘shirt’ is designed in a classic style and crucially, a tailored fit – drawing on Umbro‘s tailoring heritage with its shaped drop hem, that will sit with the natural posture of the body when standing. Without losing any performance benefits, the shirt is finished in brushed cotton, and keeps the wearer comfortable and dry.

We like the strong white and red of the St. George’s flag, taking the icon back to its purest form. A fine effort from Umbro which the players will no doubt be proud and confident to play in, and the fans, to support in this summer.
