Premium travel and luggage brand TUMI has announced the launch of its first ever European made TLX collection.
Responding to an emerging lifestyle trend of fusing business with leisure travel – known as ‘bleisure’ – the TLX collection is aimed at the traveller who is increasingly adding on an average of two extra days to their stay.
According to global travel insight experts Skift, bleisure travellers are indulging in sightseeing, arts and culture activities and experiencing the local cuisine and increasingly bringing family and partners to accompany them.
With this lifestyle trend in mind, TUMI have provided a case that bridges smart and casual, designed to never be out of place in or outside of the boardroom.
Also reacting to modern travellers desire for lightweight hard-sided luggage, the TLX collection is constructed with multiple polycarbonate layers coupled with a subtle scratch resistant matte coating, resulting in a product that is lightweight yet durable.
The collection is presented in three different sizes and in four colours: Matte Black and Navy Blue for Summer, and Bordeaux and Silver for Autumn.
The TLX Continental Carry-On, a slim and lightweight cabin bag, is one of the highlights of the collection, designed with overnight business travel or weekend leisure trips in mind. Featuring a main compartment that is made for easy access on the go, the case is divided by 2 zip pockets that provide additional packing space. The collection also offers a Short Trip and Extended Trip Packing Case for longer periods of travel.
All three cases have a four-wheel system and a three-stage telescopic handle to increase mobility in every direction, and as with all TUMI products, the cases can also be personalised with complimentary monogramming.
