A skincare brand that’s been gaining momentum lately, Sunday Riley concentrates on fast, visible results that last. Their products have technology-driven active ingredients at maximum purity and concentrations to ensure that upon using, you can experience ultimate anti-ageing breakthroughs.

“Smart, high-performance skincare focusing on fast results, with long-term payoff.” -Sunday Riley

Two Sunday Riley products I can personally vouch for are the Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser and the Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. I have been using these products consistently in conjunction with each other and with my current skincare routine, and I have to say that they have exceeded my expectations.

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser

The Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser is ideal for normal to oily skin because of its ability to deep-clean, which leaves skin looking clear and healthy. Its incorporation of French Green and Moroccan Rhassoul Lava clays means any excess oil laying on the skin’s surface is removed, without being stripping skin of hydration. Accompanying these clays are neroli essential oil and vitamin C, both which provide a calming, skin-balancing, and brightening effect all in one. The cleanser’s extensive list of natural ingredients also includes black pepper, frankincense, jasmine, and sandalwood essential oils.

Ceramic Slip can be used two ways: on dry skin as a mask and rinsed off with warm water, or on wet skin, massaged in for one to two minutes and then rinsed off.

Personally, this is one of my favourite cleansers. Having oily skin myself, I found that this product did exactly what it stated, and deeply cleaned my skin and pores leaving a healthy-looking, fresh face. The use of concentrated natural ingredients and the fact the product is paraben free furthered the win for me.

Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream

The Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream is great for all skin types as well. It delivers intensely hydrated, even, and bright skin. Its ingredients include two forms of hyaluronic acid, which both work to hydrate and intensely moisturise skin with their water-binding abilities. The blend of the two in this face cream have been clinically proven to increase skin hydration by 68 percent in 15 minutes.

On top of this, Tidal contains Alpha Arbutin and Horse Chestnut Seed Extract, both of which help at brightening and evening out the skin tone.  Tamarind Seed Extract promotes further hydration, and Papain gently exfoliates top layers of the skin to deliver immediate softness.

A light turquoise colour, the cream is thin in consistency and absorbs almost instantaneously. Upon first use, you can feel the instant hydration and softness. The combination of the two forms of hyaluronic acid makes the skin feel more plump and youthful, even after first use.

I used this cream morning and night, as recommended, on clean skin and I can definitely say I saw results. As Tidal is a water cream, I had no issues with it on my oily skin, as it hydrates without producing oil. For drier skin types, it would work well underneath a night oil, for a “lock-in” hydrating effect.
