Always of interest at Ape HQ are dunhill London’s latest collections and this week, we unveil its Autumn/ Winter 2016 campaign with a short film and visual series shot by John Balsam and styled by Dan May.
Centred around the traditions of English country pursuits and town appropriate dressing, the campaign features the classic attire of today’s multi-generational man.
A distinctly British aesthetic with wearability and fine materials such as luxurious cashmere knits for layering, a motoring-inspired leather blouson and a traditional military-inspired overcoat are stand out pieces. Material and fit wise, we see classical British tailoring in wool cloths and perennial cuts.
The film is captured within the historic grounds of Wrotham Park, the English stately home and Hertfordshire countryside- quite appropriate for dunhill’s quintessentially British gentleman.
