Levi’s 501 CT

Denim has been going through another bit of a renaissance lately, with various trend forecasters proclaiming styles and trends to follow, as well as the fashion houses using the humble fabric in their collections. Yet despite this particular purple patch, heritage denim brands still command respect for introducing us to one of the most recognisable pieces of clothing from the last 100 years. One of the most iconic and recognisable jeans has to be the Levi’s 501.

Updating the classic model for modern tastes and desires, Levi’s have released the 501 CT jeans – with a Customised Taper, bowing down to continual requests for a slight taper. With tapering of jeans being the most common alteration requests by men, Levi’s has given fresh life to their legendary jean.

The updated classic can be found on Mr Porter, where an exclusive selection of limited editions has been made with selvedge denim from the world famous White Oak Cone Mills. A hundred pairs of each model has been produced by Levi’s innovation lab, Eureka, in San Francisco. Each pair took around 72 hours to handmade, making them particular collector items. Each pair will also feature exclusive Eureka lab stamp on the inside pocket.
