Lou Dalton x Jaeger SS17

We missed the first (June 2016) one but Jaeger have collaborated with menswear designer Lou Dalton for a second time, for Spring/ Summer 2017. Looking back, the first collection took inspiration from the archives of clothing worn by adventurer Ernest Shackleton, with the second collection revisiting this to create pieces for ‘modern day adventures’.

The two British brands lead by Lou Dalton and James Jee (at Jaeger) have crafted a collection of textured outerwear essentials, cotton tees and merino knitwear, chinos and utilitarian shorts. As before, a range with a more active gentleman in mind- with performance features and ergonomic designs with a subtle military aesthetic.

Jaeger tell us that each fabric chosen was done so for its technical ability and texture. Examples include fine gage technical merino alongside stretch nylon and breathable cotton. It’s a really strong casual-wear collection from Lou Dalton and Jaeger, in some fresh, energetic and spring-like colours- whites, light blue and spring greens. It’s easy to see why the two brands joined forces again for round two of this collaboration.
