New Molton Brown Men’s Collection
Molton Brown, the bath and body specialists since 1973 have launched a new men’s grooming collection. This follows hot off the heels of their superb Sport Collection, released last year.
The new collection focuses on shaving, for now – and is to be used in conjunction with their original skin care lines. Although rumours circulate, that this original collection is being revisited soon too. In honesty, the original collection – including the Black Pepper Shave Oil, Calming Citron Ultrashave and Conditioning Olibanum Supershave, were superb – so the new lines have much to live up to.

The first thing you’ll notice about the new products are the packaging they’re contained in – a deep blue and silver colour scheme, useful and hygienic flip-cap bottles, all in all – a truly luxurious feel and style. As you’d expect with Molton Brown, the ingredient list is second to none – formulated with African whitewood extract for oil control and barley extract to replenish the skin’s protective barrier which also aids in the renewal of cell membranes. The aim; to deliver results by caring for the skin pre- and post-shave, leaving it healthy and soft.
London via the Barber Shop
- I really enjoyed the simple 3-step theme they have developed; Cleanser, Shave and Treat. Simple, thorough and effective.
- Cleanse with their Balancing Face Wash for oily skin or Deep-clean Face Scrub for all skin types.
- Shave using their Razor-glide Shaving Gel for oily skin, Skin-calm Shaving Cream for dry skin or Moisture-rich Shaving Soap for all skin types.

I tried the Deep-clean Face Scrub (£20), to scrub away any beard debris and raise hairs, followed by the Skin-calm Shaving Cream (£22) – both of which where truly superb. Next on my to use list is the Moisture-rich Shaving Soap, mainly because it looks so good! In summary, Molton Brown have really nailed this new collection, not only visually but performance wise.
