NikeLab ACG Holiday Updates
For the Autumn/ Winter 2016 NikeLab ACG collection, Nike designers prioritised three key characteristics- comfort, versatility and weather protection. And for the Holiday 2016 updates ACG’s outdoor legacy and function displays just that, with a street aesthetic. We see sport style innovations in outerwear including higher collars and adjustable hoods on the NikeLab ACG Alpine Jacket and NikeLab ACG Funnel Hoody.
The majority of the season’s outerwear includes an interior strap system, allowing wearers to carry each jacket like a backpack when moving from outdoors to indoors. A new piece, the NikeLab ACG Scaiter, introduces an innovative “wrap and tuck” closing system for adjusting to different temperatures. The NikeLab ACG Metamorphis Jacket offers zip-in/zip-out technology to hook onto several other ACG pieces.
There is also the introduction of Nike Flyknit to the celebrated Nike ACG Zoom Tallac design, which first debuted in 2003, the NikeLab ACG Zoom Tallac Flyknit delivers the durability of a hiking boot, paired with the traction and buoyancy of a lightweight trail-running shoe.
The Holiday 2016 NikeLab ACG is available beginning December 1 and its release coincides with the opening of NikeLab locations in Chicago and Tokyo.
