Nearly six years in and the NikeLab Gyakusou collaboration is still going strong. Nike linked up with Undercover founder Jun Takahashi who uses running to experiment with performance based apparel but with style. The latest collection moves away from a characteristically muted colour palette of collections-past, and into an array of bright primary colours, punctuated by neons, that capture the vibrancy of Rio de Janeiro and Olympic sport.
Key pieces in the range include the NikeLab Gyakusou Dri-FIT Distance Singlet and NikeLab Gyakusou Dri-FIT Distance Short- both inspired by the clothing elite distance runners compete in.
The AW16 NikeLab Gyakusou collection is available now at the NikeLab Rio space on the third floor of the Nike Ipanema store, and will be available globally from August 18 at nike.com/nikelab and NikeLab stores.
