Thom Sweeney – Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection

The Thom Sweeney Autumn/Winter 2017 collection is designed to provide contemporary style to a man’s wardrobe.

Alongside classic tailoring, Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney continue to develop their casualwear offering with a modernised range of outerwear, knits and shirting, each encapsulated in the high quality fabrics and fine detailing.

Outerwear takes centre stage, with the introduction of down-filled bombers, oversized puffer jackets and brown houndstooth reversible gilets crafted in pure Loro Piana wool.

Elsewhere, Thom Sweeney’s modern approach to tailoring is complimented with a two-tone herringbone virgin wool or deep navy cashmere long coat – great to wear with a smart suit.

The tailoring is updated in rich fabrics and warm colours, continuing with the brand’s relaxed yet refined aesthetic, and the classic Curzon double-breasted blazer returns in both stone cashmere and navy wool.

Knitwear focuses on elegant, easy-going fabrics, with a new unlined blazer in navy herringbone cashmere appearing alongside textured jumper and cardigan options. Offered in heavy cashmere, the new seasonal additions can be worn alone without an additional jacket.

Classic shirts have been extended with brushed cotton and corduroy, with the brand’s signature spread or long point collars, available in autumnal colours such as khaki, mist grey and orange plaid.

To complete the collection, Thom Sweeney presents its first shawl collar wool mohair tuxedo in a midnight blue, complimented with contrasting pure silk lapels.
