Universal Works – Workshop Denim

This season proves to be a really interesting one for Universal Works with the introduction of their new denim range, Workshop Denim. Workshop Denim aims to do things a little differently than the more traditional American and Japanese denim brands. Universal Works are instead crafting their jeans in England, using 13oz denim created on Vintage looms in Portugal. The range has no visible branding allowing the craftsmanship to truly speak for itself.

The jeans comes unwashed, as denim should be, allowing the wearer to create their own pattern in the jeans. The pattern is developed in line with the wearers lifestyle from everyday activities over time, creating something truly unique to them.
